Meet Social Cellar Collective’s owner & wine expert, Jaclyn von Oven
Jaclyn’s passion for wine blossomed with her first trip to Napa Valley, CA, more than a decade ago. She was taken aback by the beauty of the vineyards, the delicacy of wine production, the fascinating history and the incredible influence of climate on the resulting product. With all of that in mind, she just really enjoyed tasting the many different varietals, regions and styles of wine.
Jaclyn’s passion for wine evolved into a hobby, including domestic & international travels to explore various wine regions. She’s dreamed about entering the wine industry for years and is excited to see that coming to fruition! Jaclyn’s knowledge of wine has expanded immensely from that first visit to Napa....many wine tastings, wine classes and formal wine education have provided a solid foundation for her to lead clients through a variety of wine edutainment experiences.
Jaclyn currently holds a Wine & Spirits Eductation Trust Level 2 certification (with distinction) and is currently pursuing her level 3 certification.
